Cobie Buchman

Cobie Buchman joined the Company as Senior Vice President of Claims for Gateway Risk Services, LLC in January 2023, and became President of Gateway in July 2024. Cobie has over 25 years of national medical professional liability claims experience. He has managed MPL litigation in over 40 US states and territories. Throughout his career, he has specialized in claims evaluation and resolution, employee development and mentorship, systems and process development, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic planning within the medical professional liability industry. He also has expertise in hospital professional liability, general liability, employment practices and mass tort litigation. He is a licensed P&C adjuster and graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Biology.
